Director Statement

A Long Time Coming is a film shot in Boston, Massachusetts. It seeks to universalize the story of Amelia and Oliver by taking place during the coronavirus pandemic. People throughout the world saw their lives and futures uprooted and young people were given another element of uncertainty at a point in life where everyone is faced with a crossroad.

The hope was for this film to illustrate the link between all of these themes as people are trying to understand who they are and how to go forward in the next steps of their lives.
