A Killing on Park
A crime drama set in 1984 and inspired by the writer's original investigation, A Killing on Park follows MINAH BERMAN, a disgraced Manhattan prosecutor, law professor, and media pundit who is called to investigate the murder of an esteemed rabbi from the Hasidic community of Boro Park, Brooklyn----the very community Minah fled in college. The prime suspect? A young diminutive Hasidic mother of four, whose husband recently committed suicide. Something doesn’t add up. Unwittingly pulled into this case, Minah returns home to Boro Park to a family she hasn’t seen in 20 years and a scandal of religious fervor, shame, and vengeance that will unravel a macabre past.
