Hello, my name is Scott Edward Morris a film student out of Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. I have been training in the industry for a long while now, my new main focus is to get into producing content for TV however I have so many smaller projects that I'm trying to get through, outside of my school of course. My future aspirations are to become a producer, writer, and director of film and television.
"A Killer By Night" was my response to the films of the noir age, more than just an homage, a new way of looking at Noir Films. I knew I wanted to tackle characters that could be vulnerable in an age where that wasn't common for the leading man. I wanted to explore the potential of a strong female character fighting for what she wants. This film is my first attempt at working with actors and I can proudly say that I allowed them to bring their own ideas to the screen, and have learned that I will continue to do so.
