A Journey About sharing (Zom Connection)
Pakistan is a country that lends itself to mountain sports more than anywhere else. The country has some of the largest and most impressive mountains in the world.
But mountain sports and activities are only poorly developed there. The Pakistanis are seriously lacking in infrastructure, equipment, but also in mountain culture and know-how.
Indeed, there is only one chairlift for a country with more than 230 million inhabitants, and mountain equipment is almost inaccessible. By following the members of the Zom Connection association on their various trips there, “A Journey About Sharing” highlights all these problems by reflecting on how to help Pakistani mountain dwellers, who are in constant demand for modernity.

Arthur Ghilini is a photographer and a ski instructor from Chamonix Mont Blanc, he is also working as a journalist for french outdoor magazines and ski/mountaineering movies. He writed for film like "Hunza" or "Waking dream" from Invade media french production. He founded the non-profit association Zom Connection with Julien Pica Herry, they now work together to help the development of outdoor sports in North Pakistan.
As he works for the non-profit association Zom Connection, it was natural to take care about the directing of "A journey about sharing". And working along on this project with people who cares.
We would like to let talk the locals people of the mountains and show they are asking for more in a a country where everything is going too fast.
