AI ART - And art was never the same again...

This film is about four artists and their unique takes on the use of AI in visual art. Photographer Daniel Ambrosi adds a historical perspective to the use of technology in art and believes that the use of AI is the next natural step in the evolution of art. However, for commercial artists like Karla Ortiz, questions about copyright infringement and ownership of art are more pertinent. Artist Ellie Pritts and art director Shaun Harrison then discuss important issues of access to art, and the inherent societal biases that exist in AI art tools.

Through the relatively accessible subject of art, this film hopes to make viewers think about the broader subject of AI and its increasing influence in our daily lives.
