A House of Dream-Memory
As a gate between worlds is opened via a ritual using Cascadian dirt in one room, abandoned gods are excavated in another. In this short experimental film, Emery weaves together the nostalgia and reverence she has for the Pacific Northwest with traditions and superstitions from Taiwanese folk religion.
