Karm-Syndia is a dynamic Haitian filmmaker, director, producer, actress, and dancer whose journey in the entertainment industry began in Boston, Massachusetts. After moving to the U.S. at 16, she quickly made her mark by hosting an editorial segment on Tele Diaspora, which was followed by her own show, "Soiree Musicale with Karm."
Her film career took off with her role in "Open Vacancy" in 2009, directed by Patrick Jerome. This success led to further collaborations, including a starring role in "Enpresyon." Karm-Syndia has directed and produced several films, earning an honorable mention at the One Reeler short-film competition for "Steps to Your Heart" in 2019, and she directed her first Haitian film, "A Heart on the Mend," in 2020.
Beyond film, she has returned to producing television shows like "Off Limits" and "Cooking with Chef Sanders" through her production company, KS Entertainment, continuing to make significant contributions to the industry.
Karm-Syndia's artistic repertoire also includes theatrical dance work, showcasing her creativity in productions like her interpretations of Disney’s “Cinderella” (2016) and “Aladdin” (2017), as well as her original stage shows “Magical Garden” (2012), “Color of The Rainbow” (2014), and “GENESIS - The Journey From Hispaniola to Haiti” (2018, 2023, 2024)
