Director Statement

"I wrote and directed this film, A Girl Like Ajna, because I wanted to give the families and victims of sexual abuse a voice. Especially the victims that are kept quiet due to fear and shame. Afraid of not speaking up, and being heard. I wanted to convey a message through this film. As well as have the viewers experience what the victim experienced. Hoping that this film can have an impact on those victims, and give them the strength and courage to come forth and speak out."
