(A) Girl Stung by a Stinger (Spanish Subtitles)

(A) Girl got stung by a stinger is a short storytelling artfilm about a 5 year old Syrian refugee trapped in an desert islet near Evros, falling dead by a scorpio bite in August 2022. While people where enjoying Greek summer, this incident didn't take as much publication as needed. In fact, the Greek government denied the child's existence. As no one would take the responsibility of transfering the refugees from the islet, the body was left unburied and placed into a river to be maintained. Do.us.part felt the need to start a dialogue about the absence of a ground/country for a burial and thus not having the right to grief while being forced to stay in between countries -Greece and Turkey- under the threat of one or multiple pushbacks.
