Rose Goldthorp has been making films for nine years, now. She has already released two features. These are: two featurettes of ¾ hour each (one is a sci-fi: "Watcher" and the other is an Edwardian rom-com: "Silverville"), and a full feature: "A Ghost In Corsets". Both features are set in New Zealand and have been / are being entered for the NZIFF and other festivals.
Rose has also made over a dozen short films and is busy at the moment, in post production for Fleur's Secret. Meanwhile, A Ghost in Corsets, her full second feature, just starting its festival tour, has been double shot in 360 for VR exhibition, as well as in standard format. It is being released to festivals in March '18. Rose's third feature, Fleur's Secret, will be released to festivals in July '18.
Rose has just finished writing her fourth feature: "The Rocky Road To Freedom". She has also started draft one of her sixth feature, which is also a music-based feature. Rose has co-written ⅔ of draft one of her seventh feature (a musical). Rose has already written several other screenplays intended for various UK and French co-production features. She is also fully fluent in French and is studying Communications, at Auckland University.(www.rosegoldthorp.com)
My second feature is still very much a calling card and so I hope viewers will be patient with my lack of glitz. We all worked together on this film for such as credits and experience in the hope that, one day, we will be able to earn our living from working in the film industry. Hope you like it!
