Born and raised in the Downriver Detroit area, Sandy has an MFA in playwriting from Western Michigan University. She currently works as a writer and editor in Indiana. [The state has given her an almost neurotic aversion to cornfields. Especially in July and August, when they look like they’re trying to hide something.]
