A Dinner With My Man
An ice-cold, but sensual woman is making a pie.
When she finds out that her fat fiancé is hiding something and that he’s thinking about breaking up on the day of their anniversary, she goes insane; not only because she was hopelessly fond of him, but also because she couldn’t even imagine how a chump like him would be capable of leaving someone like her.
Left alone with the recipe, surrounded by dirty cookware and black cherries, she gets caught up in her own thoughts, which transform in a disquieting melody. She would have surprised him, as soon as he would come back home. “A Dinner With My Man”, to taste the madness and dualism of possessive love.

A polyhedric artist with a trashy, post-industrial aesthetic, a singing performer with a past on Brodway and a photographer with a passion for portraiture met in Turin, at the Holden School of storytelling and performing arts, to create a fabulous short film.
They locked themselves in a room with a piano for six months and built stories, then destroyed and reassembled them. The creative process causes the writing of the script and music to continually influence each other. "A Dinner With My Man" cannot exist without everyone's artistic sensibilities.
The Three Fabulous Directors direct a dark and romantic short film, with a musical score that accompanies the viewer into Linda's mind.
This film made us dream, it made us sing, it made us remember, as if we were children, the joy and wonder of being immersed in the work of cinema.
