Experiencing Interruptions?

A Different Tango to Live

Carlos Cisneros has spent years dancing on some of the world’s biggest stages, but now he is coming home. After living in London, he returns to his small hometown in northern Argentina, a place where being gay and an artist once meant being invisible, silenced, and pushed aside.

This documentary captures the heart of his journey: reconnecting with his parents, his land, and the memories that shaped him. Each step back into his past is a confrontation with old wounds, but also an invitation to heal.

More than just a homecoming, this is a story of self-reconciliation. It is about the boy who dared to dream of dancing and the man who made it happen, finally seeing each other fully, honestly, and without fear. Through Carlos’ story, the film offers a powerful reflection on identity, resilience, and the way art can carve a space for hope even in places that once felt impossible.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
