A Day Turns Daark

1. Nitin, a neglected child of educated parents lives with his
grandparents.
2. Nitin wants to be a doctor to fulfill the dream of his grandmother
who brought her up when his ambitious parents left him for their career. He
studies hard every day to make her dream come true.
3. Until Herleen comes into his life. She also wants to be a doctor.
Nitin's arrogance, audacity & intellect attract her. Both fall in love but it inspires
Herleen to study hard so that she can become a doctor & get married to a doctor
who happens to be Nitin.
4. Because of that his growing attraction for Harleen sees him
distancing himself from the one person who matters the most to him; his
grandmother. His grandmother, however, notices this change in his behaviour
as she can sense his shifting priorities.
5. He spends more time with Harleen to the extent that he starts losing focus on
his goal of becoming doctor despite being cautioned by his mentor, Radhey.
6. Until finally, in his eagerness to give Harleen a gift that he has
bought for her, he places a wrong bottle instead of a medicine bottle and it
unfortunately costs his grandmother her life. His grandmother's death fills his
heart with lifelong guilt and repentance that haunts him. His mental agony
throws him into a listless state of depression.
7. Ever since then he considers himself a loser. He recovers only
through the intervention of his mentor Radhey but never comes out of it
completely. He realizes he has pushed away the girl he loved along with his
chance to become a doctor. Settling for a lesser career of a nursing assistant is
not his preferred choice but his only option to get his life back on track.
