A Christmas Reminder

Kysionia Daye was born in Charlotte, North Carolina but raised in a small town of Durham, NC with her mother. Much of her inspiration and admiration to pursue a career in the arts is due to her daughter. Kysionia also gained the interest of dance from her uncle, Otis Daye (former Alvin Ailey Dancer), and pursued studies in ballet, jazz, modern, and hip-hop dance during much of her childhood into her adult years. As an aspiring entertainer since the age of 5, Kysionia's passion for acting in front of the camera soon led her to express the pursuit of the performing arts as well as modeling. She studied acting and screenwriting at North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC, New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, CA; also additional acting and writing workshops with Actress Tasha Smith, Erica Hart of ABC Primetime, as well as others. Her experience spans from TV, Film, and stage. Her short screenplay entitled "Walk", was selected for the L.A. Film Invasion Film Festival in 2018.
