A Cave Allegory

The film was made by Jillian Hovatter (writer/star), Nicole Wren-Faulkner (writer/cinematographer), and Nathan Rucker (writer/director/editor). The film co-stars Drema Stringer and has an original song by Erik Woods that helps everything come together like a nice rug. Jillian plays Lilly, an anthropology professor who struggles to care for her mother, played by Drema Stringer, who needs medical care due to her advancing illness.

We wrote, shot, and cut this film in West Virginia. This film also stars West Virginians.
