A Bedtime Story

Amy and Howard, a modern couple in their 30s are getting ready to go to bed. Amy, the overthinking wife isn’t getting her nerdy husband Howard’s attention. She has worn her best-looking nightwear which he likes, but gets ignored. Howard, a DC fan, seems quite invested over a phone conversation with his Marvelfan friend. which he refuses to reveal who he’s speaking with to Amy. Shit hits the fan for Amy when she smells a woman’s perfume when Howard joins her in bed. But then, what Howard is invested in and stressing about all the while comes from his friend mocking James Gunn and refusing to join Howard for the new Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Howard now has a free ticket, while Amy is looking for her options to leave him, forever

Director Biography - Govind K Saji

Govind K Saji is a filmmaker based out of Kerala India. A Filmmaking student of New York Film Academy, Los Angeles, Govind K Saji , he has experience managing 2D digital video production and 360 VR-based video production for social media and client projects, and also managed a filmmaking crew of 20+ members.

Skills used till now are Cinematography, Video Editing, Photography, Direction, Scriptwriting, Shot-listing, Scheduling, Storyboarding, Production Design, Production controlling, Illustration design, Graphic Design, Motion Graphics template designing.
He boasts proficiency with cutting-edge technology across photography and cinematography equipment solutions, digital video editing techniques, and software. Beyond his directorial skills, he holds extensive experience in conceptualizing and executing comprehensive photography and videography projects tailored to diverse client demands across various domains. Govind is a masterful artistic filmmaker and photographer who consistently delivers captivating visual narratives through his adept manipulation of the camera lens and editing suite.

Originally qualified as a Sales Engineer, Govind's journey took an inspiring turn as he pursued advanced education in visual media, specializing in digital video editing at Creo Valley School of Film and Television. Driven by his passion, he transitioned from the corporate realm, where he held the role of Business Development Manager for IT/ITE solutions in both the US and Indian markets, to embrace a rewarding career as a filmmaker and photographer.

Govind's academic journey commenced with a background in Electrical Engineering (B. Tech - EEE). Driven by his passion, he pursued a Diploma in Film Making, specializing in editing, at Creo Valley School of Film and Television in Bengaluru, India. Currently, he is pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Filmmaking with NYFA Los Angeles (Spring 2023 Batch).
Spanning a career of seven years, Govind's immersion in filmmaking has conferred upon him a profound understanding of diverse camera types and filmmaking equipment.

The fervor with which Govind seeks to push creative boundaries in his chosen domain is paralleled by his unwavering dedication to producing unparalleled visuals in the spheres of movie-making and photography. His freelancing endeavors spanning over two years encompass an impressive portfolio, including short films, music videos, corporate presentations, animations, street captures, fashion shoots, and interior compositions. Throughout his career, he has navigated shoots using professional filmmaking equipment and skillfully managed teams ranging from 2 to 10 members for low-budget filmmaking projects.

Govind's unique blend of innovative flair and artistic sensibility empowers him to extract exceptional outcomes from a diverse range of equipment. Among the equipment Govind has expertly operated are:
