Every century God and The Devil play a game of chess, the winner of the game will have total influence over humanity for a century.
Maria owes money to the Turks and is forced to work as a prostitute but refuses to sleep with anyone, she is hired out to a notorious gangster for a party in which drugs and alcohol are taken, Maria is nearly taken advantaged of but is saved by Ashley the gangsters body guard, Ashley's brother is a local priest who claims that God has communicated with him his whole life. God sends an angel (chess piece) to speak to the priest and inform him that Maria is carrying Gods unborn son, the return of Jesus is presence and she is to be protected.
