As a first time filmmaker, attending the Albuquerque Film & Music Experience was truly an amazing experience. They have set the bar extremely high with the utmost professionalism - and the excellence shows. Executive Director Ivan Wiener has a gem on his hands, and is building one of the finest events in the country for filmmakers and musicians to share their work. AFME rolls out the red carpet for every filmmaker and musician who attends, and Lori Berman is huge reason why. She does an amazing job working with the filmmakers and is an exceptional communicator. I highly recommend the Albuquerque Film & Music Experience to every filmmaker looking to showcase their work. They truly know how to festival!

AFME was an incredible experience. The team at AFME lead by Ivan Wiener and Lori Berman were gracious and made everyone feel like they were a part of the family. Jeff Bridges and T Bone Burnett were extremely generous with their time and sharing of knowledge. I hope everyone interested in film-making explores this. There is considerable opportunity in Albuquerque and the people in the industry are eager to help and the number of services available for film making in ABQ and NM for sound stage or high tech is at your fingertips. I highly recommend not only the event, which was wonderful, but the City and State.

Extremely grateful for the experience I had with this festival. While I was (tragically) unable to attend, my mother attended in my stead. The staff went out of their way to accommodate her, had excellent communication with me from beginning to end, and seem to have really put together an incredible event.

I will undoubtedly be submitting again in the the future.

(Special thanks to Lori, the filmmaker liaison! She was awesome.)
