ABADDON
Gaspard's car rushes down a road lined by anemic trees. His radio picks up a weird frequency, a broadcast about him. The voice emitted is not that of a radio host, nor an advertising jingle, it rehashes fragments of his life. Gaspard's eyes don't look at anything, they see through things, they project his trajectory like a ruptured slideshow of the stages that have led him up to here : nowhere.

BEST DEBUT SHORT FILM
I make videos, photos and multimedia collages, in which signifiers collide in order to reach deconditioned emotions through raw energy. I love language for its inevitable perversity, its brutal or subliminal shifts. Polysemy and referential ambivalence are essential to the constitution of my works. They mainly deal with (homo)sexual desire, love, happiness, emptiness and alienation. My films have been screened at numerous events in Europe and beyond.
I shot my first narrative essai "A Crown of Thorns" in 2020, and finally had the opportunity to be financed by the prestigious association Le G.R.E.C. for my most ambitious film, ABADDON.
In 2023 La Cinémathèque française included two of my shorts for its big summer event "L'Image des plaisirs. Sexpérimentaux".
I stare at the agressive aspects of lust and the everyday so-called reality people usually prefer to forget. I dismantlee this raw material to compose new fragmented objects in which the sleazy fuses with the sacred.
