Shadow "The Resurrection"

Andre Robert Cobbs is a first-time Filmmaker from Los Angeles, CA.  He was Born in New York, and his family relocated to California when he was a newborn.  They moved to Malibu, CA, where he was fortunate to be around successful actors, actresses, and other filmmakers.He has always had a high aptitude for telling stories and writing.  He had his first experience in front of and behind a camera when he was ten years of age.  He had a school assignment to make a music video.  He and a friend in that class got together to make the video at his friend's house.  His friend was fortunate to have a father that knew how to film, and he gave them some advice on how to make a great video.  His friend's father was the Oscar award winning Louis Gossett, Jr. 

That was when he fell in love with Film and knew at that moment he was destined to be a filmmaker. His first project, Shadow "The Resurrection," was at first an experimental project.  He had written a script and wanted to see what it would look like on camera.  He hired a team and casted the actors to make the vision a reality.  He almost gave up because he did not like how the vision sounded and looked.  He took it as a learning tool and made changes to the script and re-casted and hired a new team.

He has his own style in storytelling.  He combines old-school poetry styled writing and choreography into his directing, making the scene flow with motion and feel Shakespearean. You will be seeing more from Andre Robert Cobbs in the near future.  He will be experimenting with different genres and styles of stories. His goal and mission is to collaborate and create with other artists in the industry, while at the same time getting recognized for his vision and writing.
