Entries are now opened for the inaugural 94.7thePulse Short Film Festival. We invite film makers from around Australia to send us your 1-3 minute short films of any genre.

Complete the entry form and submit your final clip by midnight on the 13th January 2019.

What will it cost me?
The entry fee is $10 per short film.

How can I learn some basic film making skills to create my film?
94.7thePulse will be offering the following workshops in the second half of 2018 for residents of Geelong, The Surf Coast and Bellarine regions.
Workshops - Script Writing and Story Boarding
- Basic film making and editing

When will the winning films be screened?
The film will be screened at Pako Festa 2019. Pako Festa is the largest multicultural festival in Australia celebrating our diverse community with a street parade, food stalls, bars and live music and performance stages.

At the twilight screening all winners will be announced and we will open up the Geelong Advertiser’s Peoples Choice Award allowing the broader community to vote online with the winning peoples choice award to be announcing on Pako Festa Day.

Please note all top 20 films will be screened at the event throughout the day.

2. Emerging film Maker Award - Pivitonian Award
3. My First Ever Film Making Experience
4. Best Script - Geelong Regional Library Corporation Award

The winner in each category will win a cash prizes and the runner up will receive film packages.

What is the Judging Process?
5 clips will be selected from each category for the screening with a winner and
runner up in each category awarded a prize.

The Judging Panel will be made up of representatives from Award Sponsors and invited guest (to be announced).

The Pulse Film Festival does not claim any ownership rights to the content that you submit.

The Pulse Film Festival Film Festival has the right to include your film or video in its promotional activities. This may include, the creation of show reels and advertisements promoting the The Pulse Film Festival, physical screenings, viral campaigns, presentations and product pitches.

The creator grants Pulse 94.7, Diversitat and The Pulse Film Film Festival rights to: Exhibit the film during the Short Film Festival, on their associated media and at its related events, including the Pako Festa Launch and The Pivotonian.

Only the final 20 (twenty) films will be screened.
