Lion's Drum

Open Strum features Michel Goguen, a multi-instrumentalist and singer songwriter from Canada. He is an original musician that will move you with his open tuning guitar sounds and vocals.

Open tunings, made famous by artists like Jimmy Page, Keith Richards, Joni Mitchell and Jeff Martin, allow Open Strum to create with multi-layered sounds and new musical explorations on the guitar.

Open Strum has produced, arranged, composed and performed four albums so far and is currently working in the studio on the next release. The discs includes world, ambient, rock, acoustic and electric sounds.

Aside from the four instrumental albums created, Open Strum has released three vocal singles so far with a fourth to be shared in the coming months.

The latest single "Lion's Drum", has been chosen as a finalist in the International Songwriting Competition. The song is from the most recent album called "The Seeker".
