Sandra is a film director based out of Northern Virginia. "Nice to Meet you," is the first of three short films she directed. As a child she loved playing with the family camera and made various short films, music videos, and talk shows--all terrible, but imaginative. After teaching at an Elementary School for two years she began taking a career in film more seriously when she worked with friends on "Masks," a short film that screened at the First Official Latino Film Festival.
"Nice to Meet You" was born when I stepped into the most disgusting bathroom ever. I was on a date at the moment and I wondered if the mens bathroom was the same. Then I wondered if my date had disgusting habits. "Nice to Meet You" is about dating someone without really knowing their habits. It alludes to how those habits may affect your relationship later down the line.
