Noctambulist

A 1920s inspired b&w 'Silent-Noir' thriller which has been hailed by TE Magazine as "A new era Hitchcock for this noir generation". Noctambulist combines many elements of classic Noir, German Expressionist, Surrealism, Experimental and traditional Horror.

After her mothers' death, Zella (Lauren Peele) descends into a world of madness. Is she merely dealing with her mothers passing in extreme measures? Or perhaps her husband, Stellan (Nicholas Nazario) is helping to force the hand of fate by pushing her to an early grave? Hopefully, Zella will find the answers she is seeking in a series of bizarre nightmares.

'Noctambulist' will be released worldwide through SGL Entertainment with an added German version that will be available as an added DVD & Bluray bonus feature.

Director Biography - Johnny Daggers

Johnny Daggers launched his directing debut in 2010 when he wrote an directed his award winning short film, 'Samhain: Night Feast" (Best Film at Bastards Of Horror Film Fest).

In 2011, Daggers began work a now 'lost film' entitled 'Caustic Zombies'. Although a rough cut of the film debuted to a sold out crowd at the Hollywood Theater in (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) the film was never officially released due to certain technical issues.

In 2012 Daggers took some much needed down time from directing and regrouped by acting, accepting a lead role in an 'indie' short, entitled 'Tablet Of Tales'.Later that year he appeared as an extra in 2 episodes of the A&E TV show, 'Those Who Kill'.

In late 2014, Johnny Daggers began working on a documentary, entitled 'Blood On The Reel' which focused on the perils that plague 'indie' filmmakers. The film secured Daggers his first major distribution deal, and was released world-wide in 2016 by SGL Entertainment.

Daggers has always been heavily influenced by the early German Expressionist and silent films of the 1900s. Films by the likes of 'Cabinet Of Dr. Caligari', 'Phantom Carriage' and 'Nosferatu' spoke in great detail to the way that Daggers aspired to make films, and in 2015 he began working on a script for 'Noctambulist', a film which he declares is his 'dream film'. 'Noctambulist' will be released later 2017 through SGL Entertainment.
