It was whilst filming as main role character 'Nelson" in Ken Loach's 2010 film Route Irish that Trey was inspired him to get involved on the other side of the camera and is now set on carving out a career as a Director.
The idea to film the car crash scene came when filming part of a larger short INSINCERE. The script only gave ref: to a car crash.
I saw a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate that i can control and Direct a large scene that Involves the general public, a car crash and emergency services.
I also realised that i could take the scene out of the film and manipulate it so that it is in itself a mini short with a powerful message for the general public. I hope you feel it gets a message acrros.
