They're taking the term 'method acting' to all new heights... And all new lows!...
In the gritty streets of Melbourne, we find Emma and Ryan; two best friends and two of the worlds finest actors. Except, nobody knows it yet.
Em and Ry work every job under the sun to pay the bills, whilst never wasting an opportunity to hone their craft; no matter what the consequences may be - or WHERE they may be.
This ambitious, passionate and slightly delusional duo take the audience on a ride through tragic hilarity and anxiety inducing awkwardness in every episode, as they take no prisoners and NEVER take no for an answer.

Jerome Velinsky: (Writer, Co-Director, Actor, Producer - METHOD)
Jerome Velinsky is an actor/writer & director who has worked extensively in film & television both in Australia and abroad. He trained at the prestigious 16th street actors studio in Melbourne & also studied screen production separately for 2 years, at NMIT.
At 19, Jerome was cast in his first feature film role, alongside Guy Pearce, Miranda Otto & Sam Neil, in the controversial film ‘In Her Skin’. Jerome went on to play guest roles in other Australian productions including City Homicide & Neighbours.
From 2012-2014, Jerome worked as an actor in Vancouver, Canada, working on several major US projects including ROGUE (Thandie Newton), Backstrom (20th Cent. Fox) & the long running ‘Untold Stories of the ER’. Jerome has most recently played the role of ‘Hassim' in the hit channel 9 comedy series ‘Here Come The Habibs!’ & is currently filming on the the new season of Ch. 9's powerhouse drama, Love Child.
Jerome is also an avid writer & director. He has worked for major commercial networks as an assistant director for over 4 years. His first screenplay ‘STAGE FOUR’ recently made the official selection of the 2016 Beverly Hills Film Festival. His first short film ‘ The Waiting Game’, starring Penelope Mitchell (Vampire Diaries), was officially selected to screen at the ‘Night of Horror’ film festival in Sydney in 2014.
Tawni Bryant: (Co-Director, Actor, Producer - METHOD)
Tawni Bryant is a multi-award winning actress, writer and director from Melbourne Australia.
She is a graduate of the prestigious 16th street actors studio in Melbourne and has also trained at the highly acclaimed Margie Harper studios in LA.
Tawni has worked extensively in Australia as an actress, on shows such as ‘The Slap’, Fat Tony & Co., (where she gave a knockout performance as the ruthless Emma Styles) & a yet to be released guest spot on the final season of Winners and Losers.
Tawni most recently co-wrote, produced & starred in ‘Lucy’, a comedic short film which is now circulating the festivals & has already landed 3 awards; 2 at the Peninsula Short Film Festival: People’s Choice for Best Film & Best Actor overall for Tawni Bryant. As well as the 'Audience Choice' award at Sydney's Freshflix.

METHOD is an original, short form comedy series created by Australian writer/actors, Jerome Velinsky & Tawni Bryant & (unfortunately) based loosely on their personal experiences as out of work actors in Melbourne. With each episode of Method, the audience is taken on a journey through Ryan & Emma’s hilarious and unconventional attempts to ‘make it big’.
METHOD shines the light on a very unique side of Australia, one yet to be be explored properly in our local film & TV content; the entertainment industry. (Yes, we have one! Take that America!)
Underneath Ryan and Emma’s desperate need to book a darn acting job, is a beautiful &
eminent story of friendship. The series unforcedly illuminates the adage that “It’s better to be at the
bottom with your best friend, than to be alone at the top!”… Either that or “We ride together, we DIE together” It really depends on what day…
Although it’s a show written about two actors, it’s definitely not just for actors & the comedy is
universal & accessible. Everyone will be able to relate to these endearing characters, desperately trying to get what they want in life, yet always finding themselves caught in the most tragically hilarious situations, that we have to watch them claw themselves out of.
