Director Biography - Abhinav Vats

Abhinav Vats was born in India. Extensively traveled within the country due to the job of his father (a well known and revered Indian Army Colonel). Abhinav traveled the world a bit, lived in a few countries and lives in the West Coast of the US. He likes to believe that he is a world citizen and a keen admirer of world and South Asian cultures. He has been a peaceful-activist for equal rights. In India he courageously fought for equal rights for all genders in his 20s and 30s.

He has worked as a Fashion stylist and designer. Besides being an actor he is also a photographer, an artist and an author/writer. He has a few books published on Amazon, three of which showcase his skills as an artist, writer, designer, photographer and illustrator. He is also a script writer and has a book on Amazon which is an accumulation of two short story film scripts. The book title is 'Short story-scripts of gay romance by Abhinav Vats'.

He holds an MSc in Special Needs EI/ECSE, from the Univ Of Oregon, USA. He ran a free school in India for the children of the adults in the lower income group. He has conducted his Art Healing workshops with lower income group children with some charitable organizations-these children include orphans, children with behavioral challenges and other issues. He was also an Om meditation energy healing trainer for Head Start schools of Lane County. He has also conducted Art-healing workshops for seniors, especially so at a senior age home in Oregon.
