Whelmed
Whelmed: (verb, past tense) engulfed, submerged, buried.
Gen's just broken up with her first boyfriend, after twelve years. She hasn't been single since she got her first flip phone. Her single friends are light years ahead of her, her couple friends are settling down, and she just wants to know how the fuck you're supposed to fold a fitted sheet by yourself.

Dave Zwolenski began his filmmaking career as a documentarian in the acclaimed film 'Embedded with Sheik Hilaly'. From there he created and presented the tv show 'Dave in the Life' on SBS, then went on to become a finalist in the ABC Freshblood young producers program for the 3 seasons of his Web Series "Written it Down", which he directed and produced. He has travel the world with his filmmaking and currently works as a commercial director/editor and loves doing things like this on the side. He co-created, developed, produced, directed and edited 'Whelmed' and loved every minute of it.
We created this show on the shoey-est of shoestrings and I'm so incredibly proud of the result. Sheer passion and love combined with some incredibly skilled people were the reason this show was possible, and all we want is for more people to see it. It's a show that reflects the confusion that is rife in the current age of social media, dating apps and #metoo movements where we often feel our worst even when we're trying our best.
