LISTEN TO ME

Listen to me (Sun le Zara) is a short musical love story in the times, when CD's got obsolete like cassettes and mp3 took over. Tuhinika is a girl who is in love with a guy who got an opportunity to pursue music in New york. He left India, gifting her a newly launched mp3 with camera mobile phone to keep the memories alive through his songs. Gradually she became addicted to his music and her ear gets damaged with the excessive usage of headphones due to loud exposure of music. To her surprise the guy comes back to Kolkata as a star singer when she already developed moderate hearing loss. What will happen to her? Will the guy accept her anymore ?

Director Statement

I made this film Listen To me (sun le zara) because i came across to few people who have lost their hearing ability due to loud exposure to music. Today we see many youngster are addicted to music, using headphone at high volume in mobile. This film contained a message which may change their habit.
