Two Suitcases

Based on Ben Murnane's youth memoir of growing up with a rare genetic disorder, Two Suitcases has been created in collaboration with teenagers living with chronic illness. Ben was diagnosed with Fanconi anaemia as a child and at the age of 16 became the first person in Ireland to receive a new type of bone marrow transplant. The film explores the vital role creativity played in helping Ben to cope with his illness.
