Abdul Zainidi is an independant filmmaker who studied in Paris and the first Bruneian who was selected under Asian Film Academy in Busan. His films Vanishing Children and Boy on Fire have been considered as 'a strange window into Brunei'. has worked with the Alliance Française Brunei and travelled the world with his films.
Anggur in pockland is a film with no dialogue and it is so because we want to take communication away from these individuals and focus a lot on monotony and the feeling of being 'in a state of nothing',I wanted to create a film or story from Brunei that you would not expect from Brunei.
