Stone and moss

The stoneman found himself the only one who owns a moss heart while everyone else carries a chair. The heartless stonemen sit together on their chair and the moss-heart stoneman is left behind. The lonely man tries to find a chair of his own in order to join the majority so he goes on the journey with his moss. And here's the story begins.
This animation is constructed by video and installation two parts. The paper-made screen is designed as two pages of one picture book, and the story moves between page and page, screen and screen.

Director Biography - YueMing

Yue Ming is an animation director and comics artist who is Born in Beijing, China.
After completing her degree of Animation Department of Communication University of China in 2009，she started painting for magazines and picture books. Her artworks always through fiction a monster to communicates people’s emotion. Interpretation of the relationship between individual and the world. Now she is studying media art in Tama art university, Tokyo.
