Director Biography - Katerina Senichkina

Russian contemporary artist. Videoart, printmaking. Was born in Western Siberia in 1990. Graduated from Fine Arts faculty of Kuban State University in 2012. Current location - Krasnodar. Lecturer at the faculty since 2015. Debut video “Cryonics” was screened at Strelka Institute as a part of Polytech.Science.Art programme during the meeting of russian video artists with Gabriel Soucheyre, Moscow 2015.

Director Statement

Russian artist Katerina Senichkina got an academic fine art education. For a few years she used printmaking and graphic as a main media. Videoart experience was initiated by some dramatic facts of her life. As an artist she gets into passions and catches moments of beauty, love and high. She explores those few things given to human by the great endless Universe: feelings, emotions, impressions knitted in our conscious and subconscious.
