Born in Honolulu, Hawaii…and raised in a military family, Don grew up primarily throughout the mainland United States with his younger brother and 2 sisters. But his younger years were filled with backyard “chillang-a-lang” parties (Genoa Keawe style) with family and neighbors, very Hawaiiana and lots of love and aloha. Music, hula, playing the ukulele, guitar, piano, singing, telling chicken skin ghost stories ‘til the wee hours in Kahalu’u was an awesome way of life he cherished. The whole family were entertainers…comedians…or criminals. Ok, he has a few Uncles who are pastors. All this makes for a great life of entertainment!
Don's credits include Actor, Comedian, Singer, Musician, Composer, Songwriter, Writer, Promoter, Producer, Master of Ceremonies, Acting and Performance Coach. Starred and Co-Starred in Films, TV, Commercials, Voice-Overs, Video Games, Industrials, Theater Dramas and Musicals. Screenwriting has been his primary focus in recent years.
Having lived and worked professionally in Los Angeles, New York City, Toured Nationally and Internationally, Don's home base is currently Honolulu, Hawaii.

40 years of life experiences have brought me to a place of an old, yet renewed passion, to create fresh and unique stories and screenplays from a position of multi-realities in the Hawaiian, Polynesian, Asian, Hapa perspective, and yet not limited to just my ethnicity alone. My upbringing in a military family is loaded with travel, customs, traditions, languages, idiosyncrasies, comedy, prejudices, beliefs, hatred, love…and the list goes on. As many people as I have encountered in my life, there are that many ways to think and be…and I have been able to tap into another person’s soul, to immediately understand their perspective. This has made my acting very real, my improv keen and my writing as perceptive as I can make it…but I am always learning. Like a Practicing Physician…practicing to be perfect. Always driven and energetic in my approach to projects of the entertainment industry, I intend to create content and product for public entertainment and franchise residuals. Highly adept at building excellent working relationships in this industry.
