Director Statement

Under The Stars has been a very personal project for some time and was loosely in development for some years, before a final route that it should take was decided upon. A very sentimental piece, with numerous elements very close to home, I wanted to give the feeling that audiences should finish watching it, and think on a personal level. There should be at least one element in the film that anyone watching it can relate to. Perhaps it brings back long forgotten memories of loved ones lost, and encourages them to re-explore those memories, but also considers the affect it can have on the younger generation.
