Experiencing Interruptions?

Not Made for Hollywood

Grindhouse theatre has had an infamous reputation for its deliberate depiction of excessive and gritty sex, violence and anything worth exploiting, and we loved it! With its attention drawn to the controversy of what are really just ‘giving the audience what they want’ kind of films, little were revealed about not just the directors, but of the creators behind the Grindhouse film trailers which were, and still are, just as entertaining to watch. What we didn’t know is that there is a breed of talented, creative and professional dedicated to producing Grindhouse film trailers and the intermissions in between. As this film is an expose of the reclusive Grindhouse trailer maker, the film is also presented as a visual narrative. No words are spoken, just written accompanied with an educational visual feast for the eyes. After all, this does more than paint a picture of a thousand dollars budget per film!
