My name is Nuntanat Duangtisarn (People call me "Joob"). I love making a film. In 2013, the Hungarian filmmaker Béla Tarr once told me "don't be a spoiler kid" his word woke me up and has changed my way of making a film forever.
I am always interested in catholic life because I was born and raised in a Thai catholic family, of which each member was a woman: my mother, my grandmother, and my aunt. My intention on making this film is I want to explore the theme of acceptance and forgiveness. We, as a human being must learn to accept our true nature/identity. What we really are? How we deal with the dark side of ourselves? So, I, as a filmmaker, need to seek for these questions through cinema . However, my ultimate goal is not to against LGBT nor religious because I always believe that cinema should not be made for something but truth.
