Director Biography - Ashley Rose Sansone

I started acting and dancing when I was 10 years old and moved to New York when I was 18 from Michigan. I cleaned toilets in exchange for dance classes and I would go see every free movie that a coupon could provide. I studied at Lee Strasberg, Ivanna Chubbuck, Groundlings, Robert Goodwin Stunt School, RADA, Broadway Dance Center, and Queen Mary University of London. I graduated from Hunter College with a BA in theatre and am currently attending NYFA for my MFA in film acting in Burbank. I earned my SAG card in 2003 with an under 5 on Maury Povich and ever since have done student films , tons of theatre, and bit parts here and there. I wrote this script at Hunter College in playwriting and turned it into a film before I graduated Hunter as a thesis, with no prior filmmaking experience, just the passion.

This story is very dear to my heart as it is a true story before I was born and I wanted to show the amazing people in life that the world doesn't get to see. The everyday, average people who really were more than average by the depth of their hearts and souls. I hope this story can make you laugh and cry and never take one day for granted.
