Noah LePage is a young filmmaker from Western Maine currently based in New York City. He is enrolled in his senior year at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts' Film and Television program and will be receiving his Bachelor’s degree with a focus in directing this December. In the past few years Noah has directed award-winning projects in a variety of mediums, from theatre to audio drama to virtual reality, but his favorite mode of expression has always been the short film. In his films, Noah strives for a sense of magical realism, introducing surreal elements into intimate worlds in order to better represent the magic of nature, emotions, and dreams.
His short films have been awarded by a variety of organizations, including New York University, Drury Design, and the Maine Media Workshops. Some of his primary influences include Kelly Reichardt, Andrei Tarkovsky, Antonin Artaud, William Blake, and Apichatpong Weerasethakul.
