Director Biography - Danny Nutt, Rohit Gil

Rohit Gill - After finishing his first degree in visual communication, Rohit worked in theatre and spent over ten years working in the field of visual effects. He also worked on television programmes, commercials, title sequences and features like Harry Potter and United 93.

As a London Film School graduate, he produced and directed 35mm shorts, including a project for The National Gallery. His last project, Planet X was single handedly created on a shoe-string budget and was nominated at 24 film festivals, winning three awards.

Danny Nutt- Danny is an actor, voice over artist, children's entertainer, DJ and writer. His directing experience has included a series of new theatre writing on the fringe in North London. His many acting credits for TV and film include: Call The Midwife, The Bill, The Infinite Worlds Of HG Wells, I'm Alan Partridge, Eastenders, Casualty, Doctors, Keen Eddie, Captain Phillips, The Trench and Velvet Goldmine.

Forward To The Past marks Danny's directorial debut for celluloid.

Forward To The Past is an absurd high concept idea grounded in reality. It's 'Back To The Future meets Only Fools and Horses’.

The film was made for £450 with a tiny crew, and a cast of highly skilled comedy actors including: Kerry Godliman (Derek, Mascot) and Danny Nutt.
