Director Statement

I love a great challenge and "Super Mom" was just that. We had no budget, no crew, no lights and just three weeks to create the film from scratch.

The tight deadline might not have been such a challenge had I not written an overly ambitious script and just given birth to my daughter a month earlier.

At the time, I was severely sleep deprived and sick, battling both mastitis and thrush. My poor husband was wiped out from lack of sleep and working overtime at his day job.

The weekend we were scheduled to shoot exteriors, a blizzard blew in forcing us to reschedule and leaving us with just one weekend to shoot the entire film.

So, with a 5 year-old and a newborn in tow, we managed to make, "Super Mom," which went on to win 1st place at the Front Range Film Festival's Main Street Movie Making Marathon.
