SUDRA

Sudra is a 11 years old boy. He lives at the coast of Java in a fishermans boat with his mother. Sudra has to work because his mother is sick. His job is to collect plastic from the beach an sell it. From the money he earn he spend also for the medicine for his mother. One day his mother passes away, but Sudra keeps on, believing in the spirit and in his mother, who always wanted him to take care the environment.

Director Biography - Ismeinar Ratih Citrahmani

Born, 23 May 1980. Ratih is a self employed restaurant and guesthouse owner in Yogyakarta, Java Island, Indonesia. Her passion is movies. Sudra is her first movie, and the second one is Thole ( My Son ), which will be finished in March 2017.
