Signal Seeker - A Short Story of Bo Lenander’s Lifelong Journey
Dolinsjö cave is situated in the Bjurälven nature reserve, close to the Artic Circle. The cave was found in 1979, and it has been systematically explored since 2007 when a group of Swedish cave divers made the first coordinated attempt during the low-flow winter season.
Today, 37 years after its discovery, Dolinsjö cave has been mapped for over 2 kilometers. During the 2016 expedition, longest exploration dives took 7 hours to complete. Divers spent a total of 244 hours in the cave during the expedition week.
The oldest member of the expedition is Bo "Bosse" Lenander. He is 70 years old, but still an active member and inventor of a special radio location equipment used for mapping the cave.
