The Piano

Don was photographer all his life but he needed to retire because he got partially blind. He is watching some human figures outside in the street when the phone calls. It is the bank letting him know that his house will be evicted in two days.
Don daughter, Clarice visit with her son to Don and Anna, his wife. Clarice tries to help Don with the money but he rejects it. We understand that Anna has some dementia when she confuse her grandson with Clarice her daughter. When Clarice and her son leave the house, Don takes his old camera and goes to the park to shoot with his wife. When he is back, calls his agent and tries to sell the pictures, but nobody buys pictures of a blind photographer.
Next morning the police and some workers are at the door. Don doesn't let them in. His wife thinks that the knocks of the door are drums and starts to fake that she plays the piano on a table. Don is touched by this, he goes to her and seats to play by her side. As we listen the music the police and the workers start to take out the furniture of the house.

Director Statement

With this movie I want to bring the emotions of one of my best friends Tian Liu about the photography. How we can get trapped in our passion and sometimes forget about the important thing that we have in our lives, the love of those that we have around us. But, never is late to make a great change.
