Marcus moves back home after spending 18 years performing on cruise ships and discovers that his moms, Rhonda and Loreen, have turned his childhood home into an AirBnB and hired Angelique, a college student, to help them run the business while she lives there rent free. Marcus quickly learns he’s gonna need more than a shuffle ball change and some old standards to get through this next chapter in life.

Josh Levine most recently worked as Script Coordinator on Season 4 of SCHITT'S CREEK (CBC/Pop) and Writers Assistant on Season 3 of PLAYING HOUSE (USA). He is a recipient of the Kennedy Center Mark Twain Prize for Comic Playwriting for HOMEMADE, and his ten-minute play PERFECT was a Heideman Award Finalist. Josh's play, I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU, was recently published by Smith & Krause in The Best Ten-Minute Plays 2014. Josh attended the O’Neill Playwrights Conference as a Kennedy Center Playwright Observer and was in residence at SPACE on Ryder Farm during the summer of 2013. He has served as Playwright in Residence at Northern Stage Theatre Company, and he has been commissioned by Bakerloo Theatre Project, Worcester Academy, and Miles Square Theatre. Josh's other plays include ADULT CHILDREN, GAME OVER, STARRY NIGHT, SACRED TEXT or 64 KISSES, PERFECT, and others. His work has been developed by Primary Stages, Celebration Theatre, Chicago Dramatists, SPACE on Ryder Farm, and produced at The Blank Theater Company, Bailiwick Repertory, Orlando International Fringe Festival, Red Stage Theatre, From the Ground Up, Bakerloo Theatre Project and Mad Cow Theater, among others. Josh received his MFA in Playwriting from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, where he taught Screenwriting, and his BFA in Playwriting from The Theatre School, DePaul University. Josh serves on the Artistic Committee for The Blank Theatre Company's Living Room Series, and he is a proud member of The Playwrights Union, The Dramatists Guild and alumnus of the Primary Stages' Dorothy Strelsin New American Writer's Group.
