William's Women
“William’s Women” is a new production by The Breathing Art Company. It is focused on the role of the female characters in the works of Shakespeare and its reflection in today’s society.
“William’s Women” draws an attention to Shakespeare and his art. It pro-motes several of his works simultaneously and reveals a new approach to the female characters in his pieces. “William’s Women” is a creation to re-view and celebrate the works of his genius.
Secondly, the piece emphasises a very important topic of today- violence against women. It draws a parallel between the women of Shakespeare and the women of today. This production raises awareness of the issue and highlights its possible consequences.
