Chewed

CHEWED is a short horror/comedy film in the tradition of the seminal 1950's horror comic Tales From The Crypt, and George A. Romero's Creepshow. It was originally written as an episode in a proposed TV series called Cronenberg Creek.

Synopsis: "An anthropologist seeks to settle the score using the powers of an ancient Aztec god with an appetite for revenge.
Written and directed by Hamilton's own Mike Trebilcock (leader of the Canadian 90s Juno-winning punk-pop band, The Killjoys) and starring John Migliore (The Friday Night Death Slot)."

Director Statement

I like to make movies that are entertaining, funny, and colourful, while retaining a bit(e) of social commentary. I'm very much a product of the "campy" horror of the 70s and 80s and still love it to this day. "Dawn of The Dead" is my Citizen Kane.
