Director Biography - Roshan Kalampadan (RK)

Director, Writer, Producer, Roshan Joseph Kalampadan(RK) was born on August 15 1983, from the southern tip of India a place called kerala. His career began as a Web designer, Web developer, graphics designer all the while he had an enthusiasm for creating fiction and cinema even from childhood where watching Jurassic park with his father sparked his curiosity that is film making. The Box is been his debut short film.

The story was born out of man’s instinct to fight against restrictions even if small, she/he has this curiosity and fear of the unknown that which pushes mans thirst for progress, this curiosity that pushes man to find out whats hidden, what can be explored, what should be feared like a child that is constantly exploring, wandering with imagination. A constant battle towards authority and restrictions how some of these curiosities may affect in an unexpected comically negative way.
