Director Biography - Daniel Escobedo

Passionate about cinema from a young age, he began his career in 2015 with his short film "All my friends are killing each other", where he merges the genres of suspense and comedy.

Then continued his work with the music video "Monotony" by singer Miki Deb, where he gave a glimpse of the visual stamp and dark atmospheres, which caught the attention of other singers like Mann Cuevas to film "Esperar", the first video clip of the director's career in being on the Vevo platform.

In his second short film "Girl walks alone in the parking lot" enters the horror genre with comedy tints where he explores the hidden side of people.

Director Statement

Am very excited and interested by the idea of doing good stories without needing so much budget, so i remember my first thinking of doing this short film was me just having the intention of filming something. Then come the opportunity of make it real with the help of all my friends and there is where i found for first time in my life the real meaning of passion. Passion for cinema.The real cool thing of living in this modern time its how easy became to make people of all the world see my work.

I remembered when i saw the film "Dont Breathe" and just blew my mind the fact of doing something so claustrophobic in just one location, so i tell to my self "Okay, lets do something like that"
